100% Offline & Private
Privacy Policy for Spy Guard
Last Updated: July 23, 2026
Spy Guard ("com.spyguard.security") is committed to absolute user privacy. This privacy policy explains how our offline mobile application handles security data on your device.
1. 100% Offline & Local Processing
Spy Guard operates on a strict Local-First Architecture:
- No Cloud Servers: We do not connect to or maintain external servers, databases, or cloud services.
- Zero Internet Usage: Spy Guard does not request internet access permission. No data can be transmitted off your device.
- Local Storage: All settings, locked app names, security event logs, and intruder selfie photographs remain stored exclusively in encrypted internal app storage.
2. Data Handled on Device
- Master PIN & Pattern Hashes: Encrypted locally using Android KeyStore AES-256 GCM.
- Locked App Packages: Selected application identifiers saved in local Room Database.
- Intruder Selfie Photos: Front-camera photos captured during unauthorized access attempts (saved in app private directory).
3. Permissions Rationale
- Accessibility Service: Used strictly to detect when a locked app is launched so the lock overlay can be displayed. We DO NOT read, collect, or store screen text, passwords, or personal messages.
- Display Over Other Apps: Required to draw the security PIN/Pattern view over locked apps.
- Camera: Used exclusively for silent intruder selfie photo capture on wrong attempt limits.
- Notifications: Used to display local offline security alert notifications.
4. Third-Party Services & Ad Networks
Spy Guard displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may process certain device information (such as Advertising ID) to display advertisements in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
